A Gingerbread Heart

For years the Wright tradition has been to make gingerbread houses the day after Thanksgiving. This tradition usually starts the week before Thanksgiving as gingerbread is baked and then set out to dry and then glued together. It is no little project. Years ago Aunt Leslie introduced this tradition to our Family. It has been a favorite ever since. However, as you know this year is a bit different. We were just planning on making houses out of grahm crackers. Dede got a phone call earlier in the week from Aunt Leslie telling her that she wanted to make gingerbread houses for the family. That is a lot of gingerbread houses!!! Anyway because of time and everything the only time we had was on Thanksgiving morning. Aunt Leslie made 18 gingerbread houses for our family, and put them together the day before Thanksgiving. She was even going to Idaho for Thanksgiving and she still did that. It was alot of work on her part and a great sacrifice. She will never know what a gift and blessing that was. How do you make the word Thank you say so much.

Aunt Leslie has such a loving and giving heart.

THANKYOU
